Do you have what it takes to be an Licenced Security Officer with Securitas?
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Licensed Security Officer to join our dynamic team on a Permanent basis at one of Europe's largest Shopping destination.
The Officer will have full responsibility for the live operation of Service Yards A,B,C,D,E The Arches/Westfield Square, The Lower Southern Terrace and Exhibition London.
Please note that the prospective Security Officer must have acquired the full SIA licence (DOOR SUPERVISOR or ABOVE) before being able to start work on operational shifts. The shifts are 12 hrs, 4 ON 4 OFF pattern (days and night), average 42 hrs working week.

Key Responsibilities
|
- Controlling vehicle access and egress to each yard via the delivery management system.
- Controlling pedestrian access and egress to each yard via a sign/in/out system.
- Controlling the access and egress of contractors via the delivery management system and contractor tracker system.
- The issue of identification wrist bands.
- Controlling the dwell times of all vehicles/pedestrians within the yards as per instructions and pre-arranged bookings.
- Monitor and implement health and safety systems across all Service yards and designated locations.
- Enforcing all service yard rules and regulations.
- Vehicle searching.
- Security patrolling and internal yard management.
- First Aid provision to all persons within the service yards and designated areas.
- Completion of incident and health and safety reporting.
- To provide high levels of customer service to all persons visiting Westfield London
- Health and Safety checks – Goods Lifts, Final Means of Escape and safety equipment
- Traffic management of vehicles external to the site in the event of any back up.
- Management of keys and access cards (out of hours service)
- Management of the Site emergency and evacuation procedures assigned to the service yard operation

Required Skills
- Working knowledge general security procedures
- Working knowledge of Microsoft word and Windows 10
Desirable Skills
- Working Knowledge of delivery management systems
- Working knowledge of the Health and Safety at work act 1974
- Previous Security and logistics experience within similar location
